In pictures: Outgunned but not outfought

Newcastle United narrowly lost out to Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday despite a spirited display at the Emirates Stadium.

Rafa Benítez's side rallied in the second half but their effort ultimately went unrewarded, with a fine first-half Mesut Özil volley enough to secure all three points for the home side.

Club photographer Serena Taylor was there to bring nufc.co.uk this exclusive gallery.
