Yohan scoops Wonga award after great month for midfielder
Newcastle United's midfield maestro Yohan Cabaye has been voted the Wonga Player of the Month for December. The Frenchman played a huge part in Newcastle's good form in December, and scored the historic goal that gave United their first win at Old Trafford for 41 years.
Toon fan David Airey was lucky enough to present Yohan with the Wonga trophy after voting on Wonga's NUFC fan site. David travelled all the way up from Milton Keynes last night to present his hero with the award and was given a Wonga Player of the Month pennant signed by Yohan himself, as a souvenir of his experience. David also got to watch the First Team train ahead of this weekend's trip to West Ham United.
