Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a month's loan

Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a month's loan.
The 31-year-old centre-back will remain at Molineux until the end of November, and will look to improve the fortunes of a Wolves side who currently sit 14th in the Championship, having lost their last three games.
Williamson joined United in January 2010 from Portsmouth and has made 171 appearances to date, scoring two goals. This season he has featured twice for the Magpies - both in the Capital One Cup.
Williamson could make his Wolves debut on Saturday in a Midlands derby, as they travel to local rivals Birmingham City.
