Vuckic Completes Bluebirds Move

Written by Newcastle Utd

Slovenian teenager Haris Vuckic has completed his initial one-month loan move to Cardiff City ahead of this weekend's matches

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Haris Vuckic has completed his loan move from Newcastle to Cardiff City ahead of the Bluebirds' trip to Leicester City on Saturday.

The Slovenian starlet has signed on an initial one-month loan having made five appearances for the Magpies this season.

With competition tough at the Sports Direct Arena, he has been allowed to join the Championship outfit to continue his development - although he is cup-tied for City's Carling Cup final against Liverpool, having played for Newcastle in the competition against Scunthorpe.

If he makes his debut against Leicester, it will be ironic because he also made his Magpies league bow against the same opposition, as a late substitute in August 2009.

Vuckic told Cardiff's official website: "I've been told how loud and passionate Cardiff City supporters are and I'll be used to that having been at Newcastle for a few years.

"Hopefully I''ll be able to experience it soon at Cardiff City Stadium - I can't wait.

"If I'm involved against Leicester, I'll be giving my maximum - as always."
