Newcastle star Yohan Cabaye has been nominated for the FTBPro PFA Player of the Month award for January

Magpies midfielder Yohan Cabaye has been nominated for the FTBPro PFA Fan Player of the Month award for January.
The Frenchman - who turned 28 earlier this month - has been in fine form for United since the turn of the year and scored twice in the 3-1 win over West Ham United last weekend.
And he's on a six-man shortlist for the award, designed to give a strong voice to the supporters who are the lifeblood of the game, endorsed by the players and supported by the clubs.
The nominated players are:
Luis Suarez - Liverpool
Santi Cazorla - Arsenal
Yaya Toure - Man City
Eden Hazard - Chelsea
Emmanuel Adebayor - Tottenham
Yohan Cabaye - Newcastle
