Sylvain Marveaux and Gabriel Obertan will play for Newcastle's under-21s at St. James' Park against Chelsea on Monday afternoon

By Dan King - Newcastle United Digital Editor

St. James' Park is the venue as Newcastle United host Chelsea in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League on Monday (kick-off 1pm) and a host of players with first team experience are involved.

Eight of the 16-man squad have tasted senior action with the Magpies, with Sylvain Marveaux and Gabriel Obertan perhaps the most high profile stars on show.

Massadio Haidara, Sammy Ameobi, Gael Bigirimana and Adam Campbell will also feature while Curtis Good has shrugged off the knock which saw him pull out of last week's cup match at Birmingham.

Paul Dummett makes his comeback from the hamstring injury which has ruled him out since late October.

Admission is £3 for adults and £1 concessions, and free to season ticket holders and Members.

The squad is: Rolando Aarons, Jak Alnwick, Sammy Ameobi, Gael Bigirimana, Adam Campbell, Paul Dummett, Macaulay Gillesphey, Curtis Good, Massadio Haidara, Tom Heardman, Sylvain Marveaux, Brandon Miele, Jonathan Mitchell, James Morgan, Gabriel Obertan, Lubo Satka.
