The fixtures for the second stage of the Barclays Under-21 Premier League have been announced, with 12 new games confirmed for Newcastle United.

After finishing sixth in National Group Two, the Magpies will play in Tier Two in 2013 with the league splitting into three for the second part of the season.

The first game will be against Bolton Wanderers at the Lancashire FA's County Ground on Monday, 21st January before a home game at Whitley Park a week later.

There will then be home and away matches against Norwich, Crystal Palace, Manchester City and Reading with the final game coming at St. James' Park against Palace on Friday, 19th April.

Willie Donachie and Peter Beardsley's youngsters will be able to look forward to playing at venues like Carrow Road and Selhurst Park while there is a short break in February for United's participation in the Torneo di Viareggio in Italy.
