Fans are being urged to turn up early for Wednesday night's star-studded Steve Harper 20 Years Charity Match at St. James' Park.

Tickets for the fixture between a Newcastle United XI and AC Milan Glorie are still available - but only in person - and cash turnstiles will be in operation for those who wish to pay on the gate.

Kick-off at St. James' Park is 7pm and tickets are priced at just £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. They can only be puchased in person from the Matchday Box Office or from the cash-only turnstiles, which will be open from 5.30pm and will be located at turnstiles 75, 76

Collections for pre-purchased tickets will be available from the Matchday Box Office, or via the collection offices - which are located above NINE Bar - from 4pm on Wednesday.

With teams being announced around 6.45pm, supporters are being encouraged to make their way into the stadium well ahead of the 7pm kick-off, in order to not miss any of the evening's entertainment.

The charity fixture is being held to celebrate former United goalkeeper Steve Harper's 20-year spell on Tyneside.

A Newcastle United XI, selected by the popular shot-stopper, will take on AC Milan Glorie - a legends team from Italian Serie A giants AC Milan - with all proceeds being split between three charities close to Harper's heart.

The Great North Children's Hospital, Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and Newcastle United Foundation will all benefit from the one-off Steve Harper 20 Years Charity Match, boosting their respective projects throughout the North-East.

Harper will call upon Magpies legends and ex-teammates including Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand, Rob Lee and Faustino Asprilla in his United ranks, while the AC Milan Glorie squad will feature a host of revered Rossoneri icons including Franco Baresi, Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Costacurta.

Tickets for the game are priced at just £10 for adults and £5 for children/concessions. To secure your seat, visit the Matchday Box Office at St. James' Park or one of the cash-only turnstiles.
