Top Flight Trio In Under-21 Squad

Written by Newcastle Utd

Three players with Barclays Premier League experience are in the Newcastle under-21 squad to face Wolves at St. James' Park on Saturday

Three players with top flight experience are included in the Newcastle under-21 squad for their meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

Dan Gosling, Gael Bigirimana and Haris Vuckic will all feature when United take on Wolves at St. James' Park, with admission free to season ticket holders and Members or £3 for adults and £1 concessions.

Bigirimana played and scored in Monday's 4-2 second-string defeat at Reading while Gosling and Vuckic need games ahead of the Barclays Premier League season, which kicks off for the Magpies at Manchester City on Monday night.

As well as that big name trio, supporters will also be able to watch the likes of Remie Streete, Curtis Good and Jak Alnwick, who were all named on the bench in league games last term.

They will also get a glimpse of prospects like Swiss starlet Kevin Mbabu, Slovakian defender Lubo Satka and England youth internationals Alex Gilliead and Adam Armstrong.

However, summer signing Olivier Kemen is missing through injury along with Romain Amalfitano and Brandon Miele.

The East Stand turnstiles will be open for the match, with food and drink on sale.

The squad is: Lewis Aird, Jak Alnwick, Adam Armstrong, Gael Bigirimana, Macauley Booth, Macaulay Gillesphey, Alex Gilliead, Curtis Good, Dan Gosling, Tom Heardman, Steven Logan, Kevin Mbabu, Jonathyn Quinn, Lubo Satka, Remie Streete, Haris Vuckic.
