Three of Newcastle United's Academy players have been named in the England under-16 squad to face Germany in Cologne next month.

Adam Armstrong, Kyle Cameron and Freddie Woodman have been selected in Kenny Swain's 18-man squad for the international at the Franz-Kremer Stadium on Thursday, 13th February.

All three have previously been capped by the Young Lions. Goalkeeper Woodman, 15, has played once for the under-16s and four times for the under-17s and has yet to concede a goal for his country. Defender Cameron, 16, won his first cap in the Sky Sports Victory Shield win over Wales in November while forward Armstrong, 15, played in the same competition against Northern Ireland last September.

They will train at the new St. George's Park ahead of the fixture. Manchester United also have three players in the party while Liverpool have two.
