Ticket Alert - Last Chance For Blackpool

Written by Newcastle Utd

Fans have until noon on Friday to secure their seat for the Magpies' pre-season friendly at Blackpool

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor

Newcastle United season ticket holders and Members have until noon on Friday (26th July) to secure their seat for the Magpies' pre-season friendly at Championship side Blackpool.

Alan Pardew's men travel to Lancashire on Sunday (3pm kick-off), where they will face the Seasiders, who are managed by former England international midfielder Paul Ince and finished 15th in the second tier last term.

So far around 2,000 away fans will be making the trip to Bloomfield Road this weekend.

Anyone wanting to join them can now only purchase tickets in person at the Club's St. James' Park Box Office, located within the club store, and these sales will end at noon on Friday.

Prices for this pre-season friendly are just £15 for adults, and £5 for over-60s and under-18s

All concessionary sales must be supported with appropriate identification which must be produced upon request of any official at the visiting club on matchday. Failure to do so could result in entry being refused.

Tickets will only be sold to 2013/14 season ticket holders and valid club members. To buy a season ticket, click here, or to become a Member, click on the button below.

The last time these sides met was in April 2011, when Peter Lovenkrands struck to help United claim a 1-1 Premier League draw at Bloomfield Road. His 17th minute goal was cancelled out, however, by DJ Campbell.
