Newcastle United Foundation is looking for fans to abseil off the roof of St. James Park and raise funds for charity
Newcastle United Foundation is looking for brave Magpies' supporters to abseil off the roof of St. James Park and raise funds for the Club's official charity.
The abseil will take place on Saturday, 9th April, 2016, and is open to anyone over the age of 14. Registration is £30 and fundraisers are asked to secure a minimum of £150 in sponsorship.
Those that sign up will get the chance to free abseil the 150ft from the roof of the stadium down to the pitch at St. James' Park.
Newcastle United Foundation events and fundraising co-ordinator, Jen Rea, said: "In 2014 more than 100 fundraisers raised more than £10,000 for Foundation and we're aiming to do even better this time around.
"The feedback we had last time was hugely positive - some people enjoyed it so much that they want to sign up again.
"It's a really different team-building exercise if companies want to enter teams but at the same time, our smaller groups of fundraisers really enjoyed it too."
