Sunderland's A Sell-Out

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle's allocation for the derby match at Sunderland on 27th October has now sold out

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor

Newcastle United's allocation for next month's Tyne-Wear derby match at Sunderland has now sold out.

Head coach John Carver takes Newcastle to the Stadium of Light on Sunday, 5th April (4pm kick-off), for one of the biggest games of the season.

Tickets went on sale to season ticket holders with 100 or more loyalty points before the criteria was reduced to 75 and then 65 points.

And on Wednesday morning all tickets for the away end at the Stadium of Light had been snapped up.

Last season on Wearside, the Magpies recorded a 1-1 draw thanks to Yohan Cabaye's goal, and that came despite playing 65 minutes with ten men following a red card for Cheick Tiote.

Alan Pardew's side will be hoping for another positive result on Sunday, 27th October (kick-off 1.30pm).

A limited amount of tickets still remain for Saturday's Premier League fixture against Liverpool. For more information, or to secure your seat, click here
