Sunderland And Liverpool On TV

Written by Newcastle Utd

Two of Newcastle's games in April - including the Sunderland home game - have been chosen for live television broadcast

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Two of Newcastle United's fixtures in April have been selected for live television broadcast - including the Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland.

The Magpies' clash with the Black Cats on Saturday, 13th April, will now kick off at 12.45pm instead of 1.30pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, ESPN will screen the home game against Liverpool on Saturday, 27th April.

As a result, kick-off will switch from 3pm to 5.30pm.

However the Liverpool game will move to Sunday, 28th April with a 12 noon kick-off, and remain live on ESPN, should either club reach the Europa League semi-finals.
