Loic Remy, Papiss Cisse, Tim Krul and Davide Santon will be taking on supporters at the EA SPORTSâ„¢ FIFA 14 Fan Challenge, right here on Tyneside on Thursday - and you can come and watch them in action.

The quartet will be at NINE Bar at St. James' Park for the sold-out tournament, which starts at 6.30pm prompt on Thursday and gives Magpies fans the chance to play FIFA 14 before it launches later this month.

Remy, Cisse, Krul and Santon will all be playing the game between 8-10pm and the best player will face the victor of the Fans Challenge at Nine Bar, for the chance to win the EA trophy.

All 64 places to participate have sold out but it is free to come along and watch, so everyone is welcome.

And there will be some great food and drink offers on at NINE Bar during the competition, with pints of Carling and bottles of Corona just £2.50, buy two large glasses of wine and get the bottle for free, two traditional mains for £10 and two jackets or sandwiches for £7.99.

EA SPORTS FIFA 14 will be the most authentic football game on the planet. It will feature 33 officially licensed leagues, over 600 clubs and more than 16,000 players.

With FIFA 14 released on 27th September, the Fans Challenge will give participants the opportunity to play the game before it launches!

Prizes on the evening include five FUT gold packs and a signed shirt for the overall Fans Challenge winner, copies of FIFA 14 for all semi-finalists and matchday tickets for Newcastle United games.

Anyone participating in the tournament is reminded to arrive between 5.30-6pm in order to register.
