Six Of The Best For Sodexo

Written by Newcastle Utd

Sodexo Prestige, which manages catering and events at St. James' Park, has been nominated for six awards

Sodexo Prestige, which manages catering and events at St. James' Park, has been nominated in six categories for the Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards 2014.

The awards celebrate the hard work and dedication that takes place behind the scenes to make stadia events and hospitality run seamlessly and the winners will be announced at a dinner on Thursday, 5th June, at Hull City's KC Stadium.

Among the categories in which Sodexo Prestige has been nominated is the highly sought after Matchday Hospitality Award - Large Stadium, with nominations based on the findings of professional Salon Culinaire chef judges on their visits to clubs throughout the season.

Other trophies up for grabs by Sodexo are the Media Choice award - voted for by sports reporters across the UK - the Operations Team of the Year award and the Conference, Event Sales and Marketing award.

The Sodexo Prestige team will also be competing for the Directors' Choice Award - voted for by club boards of directors visiting away matches - while two of its junior staff will compete for the Star for the Future Award.

For further information about Sodexo Prestige and its conference and banqueting facilities at Newcastle United call 0191 201 8525 or e-mail [email protected].
