Moussa Sissoko played in France's 1-1 draw with Paraguay on Sunday evening.

The Newcastle midfielder was named on the bench alongside Mathieu Debuchy for the World Cup warm-up match at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.

And while Debuchy was an unused substitute, Sissoko replaced Marseille's Mathieu Valbuena in the 72nd minute.

France took the lead through Antoine Griezmann but Víctor Javier Cáceres levelled late on.

Loic Remy started the game, as did former Magpies man Yohan Cabaye.
