Shola Ameobi scored his first goal for Nigeria as the Super Eagles beat Burkina Faso 4-1 in a friendly on Tuesday night.

The striker played from the start in Kaduna and scored his side's third after 53 minutes, before coming off in the 68th minute.

He wasn't the only United man on target on Tuesday, either, as Haris Vuckic netted for the second successive game.

In AjdovÅ¡Äina, he equalised for Slovenia under-21s after they went a goal behind and the match eventually finished 2-2 with Vuckic substituted in the 69th minute.

While Shane Ferguson failed to score, he did set up a goal in Northern Ireland's match against Luxembourg. However, Michael O'Neill's team lost 3-2 with Ferguson replaced on the hour.

Moussa Sissoko was an 80th minute substitute for France as they beat Belarus 4-2, but Mathieu Debuchy was an unused substitute.

And Paul Dummett also watched from the bench as Wales lost 3-0 at home to Serbia.
