Seven of Newcastle United's Premier League fixtures have been chosen for live broadcast in the first part of the season.

Sky Sports have chosen to show five of the Magpies' games up to the end of November, including their opening fixture of the new campaign, away at Manchester City. They will also televise the Tyne-Wear derby at Sunderland, trips to Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, and a home clash with West Bromwich Albion.

BT Sport have selected two matches - home games against Liverpool and Chelsea at St. James' Park, which will both now become lunchtime kick-offs.

United's 2013/14 season begins away at Manchester City, with the game moved to Monday, 19th August with an 8pm kick-off.

The trip to Everton will now also be a Monday night affair. It was due to be played on Saturday, 28th September, but will instead be played on Monday, 30th September, with an 8pm kick-off.

The following month sees Newcastle's home game against Liverpool remain on Saturday, 19th October, but with an earlier kick-off time of 12.45pm, while unsurprisingly the Tyne-Wear derby will also be broadcast live. That match, at the Stadium of Light, will now be on Sunday, 27th October, kicking-off at 4pm.

Three fixtures during November will be screened live, starting with the Magpies' home game against Chelsea. It remains on Saturday, 2nd November, but will instead kick-off at 12.45pm.

Eight days later, on Sunday, 10th November, Alan Pardew's side travel to White Hart Lane to take on Tottenham Hotspur in a noon kick-off, and the month finishes with a home match against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, 30th November, kicking-off at 5.30pm.
