Second Fans Forum Takes Place

Written by Newcastle Utd

The second official Newcastle United Fans Forum took place at St. James' Park on Monday night

The second official Newcastle United Fans Forum has taken place at St. James' Park between supporters, the club and its principal sponsors.

Twelve fans randomly-selected from hundreds of applications, two supporters clubs, nine Club officials and representatives from Wonga.com reconvened on Monday night to discuss a wide range of subjects, with the Club's targets for the season, retail operations, stadium activities and match atmosphere all covered.

Reintroduced in the summer to enhance and structure dialogue between the Club and its supporters, the Fans Forum consists of the Club's board and senior management team, with fans getting the opportunity to pose questions and give feedback on topics of their choice.

Meeting four times per season, the Fans Forum first met in September 2013 and will get together again on two further occasions during the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season.

To read the latest meeting minutes from Monday, 6th January, 2014 or to contact a Fans Forum member, please click here.
