Scottish Selection For Inman

Written by Newcastle Utd

Young Newcastle midfielder Brad Inman is called into Scotland under-21 side for game later this month

By Dan King

Brad Inman has been selected for the Scotland under-21 side for their game against Northern Ireland on November 17.

The young midfielder, who was born in Australia but qualifies for the Tartan Army because his mother Lorraine is from Glasgow, has previously played for the country at under-19 level.

He has been a key performer for United's Academy and Reserve sides, and the call-up continues a run of good news for the teenager after he returned from the injury which had kept him sidelined since September with two goals for the under-18s against Leeds just over a week ago.

Inman has been selected for Billy Stark's squad once before, in July, but has yet to win his first cap at under-21 level.
