Young midfielder Inman makes debut for Scotland Under-19s

By Craig Hope

NEWCASTLE United starlet Bradden Inman made his debut for Scotland Under-19s on Wednesday as they were beaten 3-2 by France in Clairefontaine.

Burnley midfielder Alex McDonald fired the Scots into a two-goal lead before the French fought back to claim a late victory with Stade Rennais youngster Yacine Brahimi firing the decisive goal from the penalty spot.

Magpie Academy ace Inman, still just 17, was making his first appearance for Scotland after accepting their call-up earlier this month.

The Australian-born midfielder is eligible to play for Scotland because his mother was born there.
