Rams Seeking Revenge Over Watson's Boys

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle's under-18s host Derby - who they beat in last season's FA Youth Cup fifth round - at Little Benton on Saturday

Derby County will look to avenge last season's FA Youth Cup fifth round defeat at the hands of Newcastle United when they head to Little Benton on Saturday (kick-off 1pm).

The Rams lost to Adam Armstrong's goal at the iPro Stadium in February as the Magpies progressed to the quarter-finals, but this time around, Dave Watson's side are looking for a first Barclays Under-18 Premier League win of the season.

Mackenzie Heaney is again involved after the 15-year-old netted his first under-18s goal against Liverpool last weekend, while Sean Longstaff scored for a Newcastle XI at Heaton Stannington on Wednesday night.

Striker Louis Johnson could make his return from injury.

Admission at Newcastle's Academy is free and spectators, as always, are welcome.

The squad is: Kyle Cameron, Luke Charman, Jamie Cobain, Ben Drennan, Liam Gibson, Mackenzie Heaney, Jack Hunter, Louis Johnson, Joe Kerridge, Adam Laidler, Sean Longstaff, Michael Newberry, Ben Pollock, Carl Robinson, Jordan Storey, Paul Woolston.
