Newcastle United have announced the return of Play on the Pitch, following a year's absence due to the Olympic Games last summer.
Giving fans the chance to play a game of 11-a-side football at St. James' Park, Play on the Pitch is one of the most highly-anticipated events at the stadium during the close season.
"I loved playing on the pitch," said David Potts, of Gosforth.
"Alan Shearer was my idol and I always wondered what it would feel like to score a hat-trick at St. James' Park. Now I know!
"It is a day I will always remember."
Full dates and costs will be announced soon, however due to expected high demand supporters can register their interest now to receive full information next week.
