A new high-quality matchday restaurant experience is nearing completion at St. James' Park
Hospitality guests at Newcastle United's St. James' Park are now mouth-wateringly close to a brand new Premier League dining experience as the highly-anticipated The Park Grill nears completion in the stadium's Leazes Stand.
Adding a contemporary twist to the stadium's award-winning suites and private boxes, The Park Grill will guarantee discerning diners a high-quality, bespoke restaurant experience. It will be complete with an open kitchen grill once finishing touches are made ahead of the 2014/15 season.
Guests will discover sumptuous, locally-sourced dishes and can watch them being expertly prepared by executive chefs courtesy of the restaurant's unique design, before enjoying entertainment and analysis from a sports compere or former Magpies star - with a number of tables also offering stunning vantage points overlooking the pitch.
With additional benefits including access to private match seating, exclusive corporate gifts, licensed betting facilities and on-site car parking, the Club has already received significant interest from businesses and private groups.
Sharon Howey, head of corporate sales at St. James' Park, said: "Ever since plans for The Park Grill were announced earlier in 2014, we have had a tremendous amount of interest from new and existing clients so we are thrilled to see it taking shape.
"All the ingredients are there for it to be a superb place to enjoy matchday."
The restaurant's introduction also comes just weeks after St. James' Park was named the best large stadium for matchday hospitality in the UK at the prestigious Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards 2014.
Sharon added: "We are delighted to receive such high profile recognition for the facilities we provide and the introduction of The Park Grill is testament to our commitment to building on the high standards we set ourselves.
"It will offer hospitality guests a wonderfully new and contemporary option at what is already a magnificent stadium."
