NUDSA Enjoy Away Day Triumph

Written by Newcastle Utd

Nearly 50 members of NUDSA were in a sold-out away end at Hull on Saturday to cheer United on to victory

A near 50-strong party representing the Newcastle United Disabled Supporters Association (NUDSA) were in the away end at Hull City last Saturday, thanks to the Premier League Away Fans Fund.

The Magpies provided the group, which included supporters and carers, with free tickets, coaches, catering and stewarding, and they were treated to an entertaining match at the KC Stadium and a superb 4-1 victory over the Tigers.

The allocation of funds for the trip was proposed in a Newcastle United Fans Forum - on which NUDSA hold a permanent seat - earlier in the season, with the group and Club officials working closely to identify a suitable fixture.

The Away Fans Fund was introduced this season to stimulate visiting supporter attendances at Premier League fixtures, with £200,000 being ring fenced per club for each of the next three seasons.
