SECOND HALF UPDATES (PRESS F5 TO REFRESH)

WHISTLE-MDC-icons90+3mins: Anthony Taylor blows for full-time. Wilfried Bony's stoppage-time penalty - awarded for Chieck Tiote's foul on Marvin Emnes - has stolen the points for Swansea City and condemned Newcastle to a fifth consecutive Barclays Premier League defeat.

SUB-MDC-icons90+2mins: Substitution for Swansea City - Kyle Bartley replaces Wayne Routledge. Not long left now.

GOAL-MDC-icons90+1mins: SWANSEA CITY GOAL (1-2): Wilfried Bony tucks the spot kick into the top right-hand corner, sending Krul the wrong way.

Yellow-Card-MDC-icons90+1mins: Yellow card (Newcastle United) - Cheick Tiote.

PENALTY-MDC-icons90+1mins: Penalty to Swansea City. Cheick Tiote upends substitute Emnes on his way to goal. Tiote is yellow carded and Swansea have a glorious opportunity to snatch the points.

90mins: The fourth official indicates that there will be a minimum of two minutes stoppage time.

89mins: Shelvey hits a cross-shot a yard from the byline which almost decieves Krul, but he manages to gather at his near post.

87mins: Armstrong finds Gouffran in space down the middle, but his layoff for Debuchy goes just behind the full-back and rolls out of play.

85mins: Adam Armstrong wins a free kick from Jordi Amat, but Gouffran's delivery is poor and Vorm gathers comfortably.

83mins: Swansea substitute Emnes is staright into the thick of the action, playing Wilfried Bony through on goal. Krul is quick off his line to stop the forward rounding him. Swansea now have a very pacy frontline, with Bony, Emnes and Routledge up top.

SUB-MDC-icons80mins: Substitution for Swansea City - Marvin Emnes replaces Pablo Hernandez.

SUB-MDC-icons80mins: Substitution for Newcastle United - Adam Armstrong replaces Dan Gosling. It's the 17-year-old's home debut for Newcastle.

78mins: Davies sends Shelvey away down the left but his cross is overhit. It's picked up by Rangel, though, who tees up de Guzman to go close with a looping effort that dropped just above Tim Krul's crossbar.

77mins: Ameobi tests Vorm after cutting inside from the left flank. His effort, however, is easy for the Dutchman to gather.

75mins: Hernandez blasts a shot wide from just outside the box as Swansea enjoy a brief spell of dominance.

74mins: Hernandez finds Shelvey, who in turn sets up de Guzman for a cross, which Bony can't divert towards goal. Routledge keeps the attack alive, but Gosling retreats to clear the danger.

71mins: Referee Taylor calms a shoving match in the six-yard box following another Davies corner.

68mins: Routledge, who has been a constant threat all afternoon, puts in a cross that reaches Hernandez, but Debuchy is there to prevent him from getting a shot away. Swansea have livened up in the last few minutes. Routledge forces a corner from Dummett, but it doesn't trouble United.

65mins: United have Swansea on the back foot - Monk's men are sitting deep in their own half. Gouffran swings in a corner, but it's easily caught by Vorm.

62mins: Loic Remy, in search of his 14th league goal of the season, tries to curl an effort over Vorm from distance. His shot goes over, but it's another signal of ntent from Pardew's charges.65mins

61mins: Dummett's free kick is headed away by Bony, but only as far as Anita. The midfielder tries a 25-yarder which whistles past the right-hand post. This is better from the hosts.

59mins: Debuchy's cross from deep is flicked wide by the oncoming Dan Gosling, who did well to connect with his head but couldn't steer his effort goalwards.

58mins: Gouffran looks to be having his shirt held by Davies, but referee Taylor waves away the appeal for a free kick and awards a goal kick instead.

56mins: Tiote sprays the ball out wide to Dummett, who cuts inside and tries a shot with his unfavoured right foot. At the other end, Coloccini has to be alert to clear with Bony poised, before Gosling tees up Remy to miscue in front of the Gallowgate. It's end-to-end stuff at the start of the second half.

54mins: Swansea continue to break at pace. Routledge is played through by Shelvey after good work from the lively Hernandez, but his cross is intercepted by Williamson with Bony waiting to pounce. Shelvey then tries his luck, but Debuchy gets in the way of his long-range drive.

50mins: Tiote surrended possession to Routledge, who twisted and turned past a couple of challenges before being halted by the fit-again Debuchy. Routledge then look to play Bony through, but the offside flag goes up.

48mins: Gosling tests Vorm with a scuffed left-footed effort that the Swans' custodian has to turn round the post. The resulting corner is cleared by Bony.

47mins: Routledge cuts the ball back for Shelvey, who looks for Rangel on the right. The former Liverpool man's pass is slightly overhit, however, and the Spaniard does well to prevent a goal kick.

WHISTLE-MDC-icons46mins: Swansea City kick off the second half here at St. James' Park.

FIRST HALF UPDATES

WHISTLE-MDC-icons45+3mins: The whistle has just blown for half time. Shola Ameobi put United ahead with his first league goal of the season, but Wilfried Bony restored parity in first-half stoppage time with a header from a Ben Davies corner. All to play for in the second half.

GOAL-MDC-icons45+1mins - SWANSEA CITY GOAL (1-1): Wilfried Bony leaps above the Newcastle defence to plant Ben Davies' corner into the corner in front of the Gallowgate End.

45mins: The fourth official indicates that there will be a minimum of 3 minutes added time.

44mins: Debuchy embarked on a trademark surging run down the right after being released by Anita. His cross sails over Ameobi but is met by Gouffran, whose downward header is gathered comfortably by Vorm.

42mins: Shelvey fires a speculative free-kick past Krul's post. Newcastle look good value for their lead at present, but Garry Monk's men remain a threat on the counter.

SUB-MDC-icons40mins: Substitution for Newcastle United - Loic Remy replaces the injured Luuk de Jong. A huge-cheer from the home supporters greets the return to action of the 13-goal top scorer.

38mins: As de Jong hobbles to the byline, there is applause from the Newcastle fans for Loic Remy, who emerges from the bench for a warm-up.

37mins: Luuk de Jong is down injured after an aerial challenge. The on-loan Dutchman looked to have landed awkwardly whilst trying to get on  the end of Paul Dummett's free kick towards the back post.

35mins: Tiote is robbed by Bony in his own half. The Swans' lone striker sidesteps the Ivorian's attempt the regain possession before blasting his effort past Krul's left hand post.

Yellow-Card-MDC-icons32mins: Yellow card (Newcastle United) - Dan Gosling.

32mins: Routledge flies past Gosling, who brings the former Newcastle winger down. Foy produces a yellow card for Gosling, but the inswinging free kick is cleared.

29mins: Ameobi tries to wriggle past Amat in the box, but the ball runs away from him and Vorm collects. The Magpies look much more of a threat since the goal.

26mins: Debuchy, making his first appearance since the 4-1 win at Hull City back in March, confidently heads back to Krul. His return provides United with a huge boost as they come towards the end of the season.

GOAL-MDC-icons23mins - NEWCASTLE UNITED GOAL (1-0): Shola Ameobi gives Newcastle United the lead. After winning an aerial battle, the big forward played a one-two with Luuk de Jong before planting his left-footed shot low past Michel Vorm.

SUB-MDC-icons21mins: Substitution for Newcastle United - Papiss Cisse is replaced by Mathieu Debuchy. The Frenchman looks to be taking over Vurnon Anita's right-back role, with Anita returning to a more familiar midfield position.

19mins: Neat interplay between Hernandez and de Guzman results in the latter firing in a low cross, which looked to have been turned wide by Bony. Foy thought otherwise, awarding the visitors a corner, but it came to nothing.

16mins: Brief stoppage in play as Papiss Cisse receives treatment for a knock. The Senagalese striker is back on his feet soon enough, though, and is waved back onto the field by Chris Foy.

15mins: Hernandez, under pressure from de Jong, miscues horribly in his own half, gifting United a throw-in. Ameobi's centre, however, is headed clear by skipper Ashley Williams.

12mins: De Guzman's persistance on the right wing forces Coloccini to concede a corner. Davies takes it short to Routledge, who wins another corner, which is duly caught by Tim Krul.

10mins: Angel Rangel's long throw is nodded goalwards by Shelvey, but Ameobi is there to block. The resulting corner is cleared by the United frontman.

8mins: Hernandex plays a one-two down the right touchline with Jonathan de Guzman, but his cutback from the byline finds no-one.

6mins: It's been an industrious start from the home side, but Swansea are venturing forward at speed. Pablo Hernandez tries to slide top scorer Wilfried Bony through, but the chance is snuffed out.

4mins: Dan Gosling's searching through ball almost finds its way to Luuk de Jong, but Jordi Amat is well placed to intercept.

1min: Newcastle captain Fabricio Coloccini charges down Jonjo Shelvey's effort from the edge of the box. The rebound strikes referee Chris Foy square in the face, prompting cheers from all corners of the ground. Foy is replaced by fourth official Anthony Taylor. Play is restarted with Shola Ameobi returning possession to the Swans.
