Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has made six changes to his starting line-up for Wednesday night's Capital One Cup third round home tie against Leeds (7.45pm kick-off).
However, it is still a strong Magpies' team which will take to the fiel at St. James' Park, with six full internationals and a further four who have represented their respective countries at under-21 level.
United were beaten 3-2 by Hull in league action at the weekend, and Mike Williamson, Paul Dummett, Cheick Tiote, Sylvain Marveaux, Yoan Gouffran and Sammy Ameobi come in to face Leeds.
They replace Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Davide Santon, Moussa Sissoko, Yohan Cabaye, Hatem Ben Arfa and Loic Remy.
For experienced centre-back Williamson, it is his first appearance of the 2013/14 campaign and he will be part of a back four with Mathieu Debuchy, captain Fabricio Coloccini and Dummett, which will protect goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Vurnon Anita and Tiote will anchor the hosts' midfield, with Marveaux and Ameobi on either flank just ahead of them.
And Gouffran will be deployed in the number ten role, just behind Senegalese striker Papiss Cisse.
On the substitutes' bench there are places for youngsters Jak Alnwick, Gael Bigirimana and Haris Vuckic, joining Yanga-Mbiwa, Ben Arfa, Dan Gosling and Gabriel Obertan.
