At St. James' Park

Emmanuel Riviere makes his first start of the season as Newcastle United entertain Bournemouth in the Barclays Premier League (3pm kick-off).

The French forward has only made two appearances to date this campaign following an injury-hit season but is included in the Magpies' line-up for their clash with the Cherries at St. James' Park.

Riviere's inclusion is one of two changes made by head coach Steve McClaren for the top flight fixture, with Ayoze Perez also coming in from Wednesday's defeat at Stoke.

They replace Yoan Gouffran and Aleksandar Mitrovic, who both drop down to the substitutes' bench.

United are expected to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Rob Elliot behind a back four of Daryl Janmaat, Steven Taylor, Jamaal Lascelles and Paul Dummett.

Stand-in captain Jonjo Shelvey will anchor the Magpies' midfield alongside Jack Colback, with a trio of Moussa Sissoko, nine-goal leading scorer GeorginioWijnaldum and Perez ahead of them.

And they will be tasked with supplying the ammunition for former Monaco forward Riviere, who scored three goals last season.
