Newcastle United's third kit is now officially available and can be purchased online and in Club Stores.

The new strip, which is the third and final kit of the 2013/14 season, comprises of a yellow shirt, blue shorts and white socks, and it hit the shops on Thursday morning, with supporters able to purchase it ahead of Saturday's home game against Liverpool.

It is not the first time the Magpies have had a yellow change kit.

From 1973-80, United had a range of variations on a yellow theme, some with blue shorts and white socks and others with green shorts and yellow socks.

An all-yellow away strip featured in the early 1980s before, in recent years, Newcastle wore a yellow shirt, black shorts and white socks kit in the 2004/05 campaign.

And who can forget the dark and light yellow striped effort which the Championship title-winning squad of 2009/10 pulled on a number of times on their way to a record-breaking season.

PUMA has been supplying the Club with official technical and replica kit and training wear since 2010, and the third kit is inspired by the Sportslifestyle brand's Spirit product line, featuring all the technological excellence expected from a PUMA kit, including Dry Cell technology for improved player performance.

Dry Cell technology enhances body performance by dragging moisture away from the body, improving air-flow and keeping the body at the ultimate performance temperature. Meanwhile, the four-way stretch underarm panel, cuffs, and back mesh offer the same freedom of movement as the match kit.

Priced from £34.99, it can be bought online by clicking here and in all Official Club Stores.
