Player profiles for all of Newcastle United's new Academy scholars are now available on nufc.co.uk

Newcastle United's new first-year scholars returned to the club's Academy base at Little Benton this week to start their new lives as full-time footballers.

Rolando Aarons, Macauley Booth, Macaulay Gillesphey, Alex Gilliead, Tom Heardman, Ryan McKinnon, James Morgan, Greg Olley, Jonathyn Quinn, Lubomir Satka and Liam Smith all signed terms with the club and are all raring to go ahead of the 2012/2013 campaign.

Their hard work starts here as there is a long and winding road towards becoming Tyneside heroes, but success lies ahead for a lucky few.
