Newcastle's pre-season friendly away to non-league neighbours Gateshead has a new date and kick-off time

Newcastle United's pre-season friendly against Gateshead, announced earlier this week as part of the under-21s' summer schedule, has been brought forward.
Willie Donachie and Peter Beardsley's second-string were due to make the short trip to the International Stadium for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, 3rd August.
However it has now been switched to 7.30pm on Friday, 2nd August. Prices will remain £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for under-16s.
That means that the Magpies under-21s friendy fixture list is now as follows:
Tuesday, 16th July - Hamilton Academical home (behind closed doors)
Saturday, 20th July - Southampton home (behind closed doors)
Wednesday, 24th July - Workington away (kick-off 7.30pm)
Saturday, 27th July - Kilmarnock away (kick-off TBC)
Tuesday, 30th July - St. Mirren away (kick-off 7.30pm)
Friday, 2nd August - Gateshead away (kick-off 7.30pm)
