Meet The New Boys

Written by Newcastle Utd

Check out our player profiles for each of Newcastle United's new Academy players

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

No less than 14 youngsters joined Newcastle United's Academy this summer as first-year scholars, and some of them could become stars of the future.

Adam Armstrong, James Atkinson, Daniel Barlaser, Kyle Cameron, Jamie Cobain, Ben Drennan, Andrew Hall, Joe Kerridge, Adam Laidler, Brendan Pearson, Callum Roberts, Jordan Storey, Callum Williams and Freddie Woodman all signed terms with the Club.

While regular visitors to nufc.co.uk might be familiar with the likes of Woodman, Armstrong, Cameron and Barlaser due to their various international call-ups, even the most ardent Magpies supporter could be forgiven for not knowing much about the rest.

However, all 14 players now have profiles on the Club's official website so that fans can find out a little more about the new crop of United prospects.

Who attended the same school as Stan Laurel? Which player's hobby is growing his beard? Click here to go to the Academy profiles section.

And remember, for match reports of every game and - new for 2013/14 - weekly under-18 highlights on nufcTV, this is the only place to come for in-depth coverage of the players of tomorrow.
