Magpies On The Box

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle's home games against Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as the trip to Liverpool, will be televised by Sky Sports

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Journalist

Three Newcastle fixtures have been chosen for live broadcast during December and January.

Sky Sports will screen United's Premer League clash against Chelsea at St. James' Park, on Saturday, 3rd December, with the game kicking off at 12.45pm rather than 3pm.

The Magpies were originally scheduled to travel to Liverpool on New Year's Eve, but that match will now take place a day earlier, on Friday 30th December, with a 7.45pm kick-off and will again be live on Sky Sports.

And finally, Newcastle's first game of 2012 - at home to Manchester United - will be televised. The Red Devils were supposed to be in the North-East on Monday, 2nd January, but the fixture has been selected by Sky Sports and will instead be broadcast on Wednesday, 4th January, kicking off at 8pm.
