Magpies Drawn Against Brighton

Newcastle United have been drawn away to Brighton and Hove Albion in the third round of this season's FA Cup

Alan Pardew's side face another trip to Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup with Budweiser after the third round draw took place at Wembley on Sunday.

Newcastle bowed out of the competition at the Amex Stadium in the fourth round last season so will hope for a better result against Gus Poyet's side this time around.

A Mike Williamson own goal proved to be the difference when the sides met in January, having beaten Blackburn in the third round.

Ties will be played on 5th and 6th January, 2013.
