Bradden Inman helped Crewe Alexandra to win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Wembley on Sunday.
The Australian youngster became the fourth Newcastle United loanee to play in a national cup final this season when he was named in the starting XI for the Railwaymen against Southend United.
Curtis Good had already played at the famous stadium for Bradford in the Capital One Cup final in February, but the Bantams lost to Swansea, while Paul Dummett and Conor Newton won the Scottish League Cup against Hearts at Hampden Park last month.
Crewe took the lead after just six minutes through a fine strike from Luke Murphy, and Max Clayton scored a second three minutes into the second half.
Inman - who had scored twice in the semi-final win at Coventry and netted two in his previous two games - was replaced by Ryan Colclough in the 69th minute, having come close to scoring with a shot which flashed just wide in the first half.
He then marched up the famous Wembley steps with his team-mates to receive his medal as Crewe won the trophy for the first time in their history.
