Dan Gosling won the decisive penalty for Blackpool as they beat Wigan 1-0 on Saturday.

The midfielder was fouled in the box by Scott Carson, allowing Tom Ince to convert from the spot.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Shane Ferguson was an unused substitute as Birmingham lost 4-0 at Leeds.

In League Two, Michael Richardson was a 71st minute substitute for Accrington as they drew 0-0 with Oxford.

Meanwhile Conor Newton played 90 minutes as St. Mirren claimed their second successive victory: 4-3 against St. Johnstone.

But Steven Logan's loan spell with Annan has been curtailed through injury.

On Friday, Romain Amalfitano played the whole game as Dijon beat Troyes 2-1 while Mehdi Abeid was an 82nd minute substitute for Panathinaikos as they lost 2-1 to Panthrakikos.
