Loan Watch: Forster's 20-20 Vision

Written by Newcastle Utd

It's now 20 straight domestic wins for Celtic and 20 clean sheets for the season for Newcastle's on-loan goalkeeper Fraser Forster

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Fraser Forster racked up his 20th clean sheet of an increasingly impressive season as Celtic made it 20 straight domestic victories on Saturday.

The Hoops beat Motherwell 1-0 at Celtic Park to go 23 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League table courtesy of Gary Hooper's goal.

But they also had their goalkeeper to thank for another shut-out.

Meanwhile, James Tavernier and Alan Smith both played 90 minutes for MK Dons as they gained a vital 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

The victory put them up to fourth in League One and came after Mathias Kouo-Doumbe's goal on 32 minutes.

Smith, who played in the centre of midfield, was shown a yellow card and played on despite a head injury while Tavernier put in another strong display at right-back.
