Curtis Good experienced the thrill of playing at Wembley in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday, but the day ended in disappointment as Bradford were thrashed 5-0 by Swansea.
Newcastle's Australian defender had helped the Bantams overcome Aston Villa over two legs to reach the showpiece occasion, having already beaten the likes of Arsenal and Wigan on a fairytale run.
But it proved to be a bridge too far against Michael Laudrup's slick Swans, who were 2-0 up at half-time through Nathan Dyer and Michu.
Good was then replaced at half-time and things quickly got worse as Dyer got his second before goalkeeper Matt Duke was sent off for conceding the penalty from which Jonathan de Guzman made it four.
In the final minute, De Guzman got another but Good will surely look back on the cup run and his day out at Wembley fondly in years to come.
