Loan Watch: Brad's Boys Beaten By Bournemouth

Written by Newcastle Utd

There was a footballing first for Bradden Inman as he made his tenth Football League start for Crewe

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

With several midweek fixtures in the Football League, two of Newcastle's on-loan youngsters were on duty on Tuesday night.

Bradden Inman made his tenth league start for Crewe but his side lost 2-1 at home to league leaders Bournemouth thanks to Brett Pitman's double.

Inman, who has made 14 appearances in all for the League One side and scored six times, played for 89 minutes before being replaced by Max Clayton in the closing stages, having been booked for kicking the ball away - his first yellow card in senior football.

Curtis Good, meanwhile, was an unused substitute as Bradford won 3-0 at Wycombe.
