Newcastle's game at Wigan in March has been chosen for live broadcast by Sky Sports, meaning a new date

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Newcastle's trip to Wigan in March will now be screened live by Sky Sports, meaning a new date for the DW Stadium fixture.

The match was originally to be played on Saturday, 16th March at 3pm but will now take place the following day, Sunday, 17th March with a 4pm kick-off.

United were 3-0 winners against the Latics at St. James' Park in December in a clash which was also televised but the sides are currently separated by just one place in the Barclays Premier League table.

Newcastle are one place higher in 16th, with Roberto Martinez's men 17th.
