Kitchen Installed At St. Johnstone

Written by Newcastle Utd

Former Newcastle defender Alex Kitchen has signed for Scottish Premier League side St. Johnstone

Former Newcastle youngster Alex Kitchen has joined Scottish Premier League side St. Johnstone.

The teenage defender was released by the Magpies during the summer after an injury-hit season at under-21 and under-18 level.

But he has signed a two-year deal at McDiarmid Park to link up with ex-Magpies goalkeeper Tommy Wright, now the Perth side's manager.

Kitchen had been with Newcastle since the age of nine and the Club wishes him well north of the border.
