Newcastle United are delighted to announce that Kings of Leon will play a headline show at St. James' Park on Saturday, 31st May, 2014.
The multi Grammy and Brit award-winning Tennessee rockers released their sixth album Mechanical Bull in September, scoring their fourth number one album in the UK. The album has just received a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album of 2013.
Kings of Leon, alongside special guests, are to be one of the first bands that Newcastle United will be bringing to the city over the next few years, making St. James' Park one of the premier stadiums in the country to see such huge acts.
Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Thursday, 19th December. General admission tickets are priced at £55, other options are available: http://www.seetickets.com/go/nufc
Newcastle United Members and season ticket holders are able to purchase tickets to this headline show before anyone else and can buy tickets from 9am on Wednesday, 18th December. A valid Membership number will need to be quoted at the point of sale and there is no limit to the amount of tickets that can be purchased.

Newcastle United finance director, John Irving, said: "We are delighted to bring such a big act as Kings of Leon to St. James' Park for the first of what we hope will be a very long history of successful shows in the North-East.
"The Kings of Leon are renowned across the world and playing host to one of their UK shows is a real coup for Newcastle as both a club and city."
