Jenas Back At Forest

Written by Newcastle Utd

Ex-Newcastle midfielder Jermaine Jenas has joined his former club Nottingham Forest on loan from Tottenham

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Former Newcastle player Jermaine Jenas has joined his first club Nottingham Forest on an emergency one month loan from Tottenham.

The 29-year-old - who joined United in 2002 from Forest - has returned to the City Ground after failing to start for Spurs in over a year.

This season he has made just one substitute appearance, a far fry from his time on Tyneside when he won the 2002/03 PFA Young Player of the Year award in his first full season.

He made 110 league appearances for the Magpies under Sir Bobby Robson and Graeme Souness before leaving for Spurs in 2005.
