International Futsal is coming to Tyneside next month, with the Four Nations tournament taking place at Sport Central, Northumbria University.

From 5th-9th June, England will compete with Poland, Malaysia and USA across a series of matches, with entry just £3 per day for adults and £1.50 for under-16s.

Pete Sturgess' England squad will kick-off against USA on Thursday, 6th June, before Poland are the opposition 24 hours later. After a day's break, the tournament finale takes place on Sunday, 9th June when England face Malaysia.

Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided football game that places a large emphasis on technical skill and ability in situations of high pressure.

It is a five-a-side game, normally played on a flat indoor pitch with hockey sized goals and a size four ball with a reduced bounce. Games are 20 minutes per half, played to a stopping clock with time-outs permitted.
