Academy duo Lubo Satka and Daniel Barlaser have both been called up for international games this month,

Defender Satka, 16, has been selected for the Slovakia squad for 2013 European Under-19 Championships qualifiers against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan and Norway.

The games will be played in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 9th and 18th October. Satka, who joined Newcastle from Dubnica last summer, played for his country's under-18s in the Memoriál Václava Ježka Tournament in the Czech Republic last month.

He will link up with his international colleagues after the Magpies' Barclays Under-21 Premier League fixture at Aston Villa on Monday, 8th October and has expressed his gratitude towards the Club for allowing him to represent Slovakia once again.

Meanwhile, 15-year-old wideman Daniel Barlaser is in the Turkish under-16 squad for two friendly games in Italy.

Qualifying through his father, Barlaser impressed during a training camp last month and will now hope to figure in a pair of matches against the Azzurri on Tuesday, 2nd October and Thursday, 4th October.
