Australian youngster Bradden Inman has extended his loan spell with Crewe Alexandra after a successful first month with the League One side.
The 21-year-old midfielder scored three times in five league starts for Steve Davis' side and helped the team win four of those matches, while he also played in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy success over Doncaster.
He joined Alex, initially until 2nd January, at the end of November but has now agreed to stay until 11th February.
Inman - who had scored seven goals in eight Barclays Under-21 appearances for Newcastle before heading to South Cheshire - told nufc.co.uk: "I'm glad to be extending my loan at Crewe as I've had an enjoyable first month here and learnt a lot already about the game.
"I'm glad to be here for another month as the team are pushing for the play-offs and we have a good group of lads down here."
Crewe are at home to Stevenage Borough on Saturday.
