Newcastle United have issued the following important information ahead of Saturday's Kings of Leon concert
Newcastle United have issued the following important information ahead of Saturday's Kings of Leon and special guests concert at St. James' Park.
The St. James' Park Matchday Box Office (underneath the Milburn Stand) will be open from 11am, with ticket availability including pitch standing from £29.50.
Prepaid collections booked at other selling outlets including SeeTickets and Ticketmaster will be available from the Matchday Collection Offices above Nine Bar on the Gallowgate concourse.
The following items are prohibited at the event: alcohol, food, glass bottles/cans, pyrotechnics, controlled drugs/illegal substances, and pointed or bladed articles. All persons will be subject to search for such items, prior to entering the stadium.
Infants (under five-years-old) are not admitted to the event, while children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of four children in the care or one adult.
St. James Park stadium is a designated no smoking venue and smoking will not be permitted inside. There is no provision to allow persons outside of the stadium during the event, to smoke.
People with pitch tickets have been issued with wristbands to allow access to toilets, bars and kiosks inside the stadium stands.
Persons with seat tickets (Pitch Access) have been issued with wristbands to allow access from their seat to the pitch and return.
There are medical and first aid staff on duty at the event. Should you feel unwell or have an accident, please make your way to the nearest medical point or first aid treatment room which will be clearly signposted, or seek assistance from your nearest steward, or member of stadium staff.
Should you become separated from your group/friends, the following are designated meeting points:
// Outside of the stadium - Sir Bobby Robson statue at the south-west corner of the stadium;
// Inside the stadium - meeting point A for pitch ticket holders, or meeting point B for stand seated ticket holders. Both Points are clearly marked and are located in the north-east corner of the stadium, to the left of the stage as you look at it from the pitch.
If in doubt, please speak to your nearest Steward, or member of Stadium staff.
If you are a wheelchair user or have mobility issues and require assistance to your seated area, please contact 0191 2018634 prior to the event, or speak to your nearest steward or member of stadium staff upon arrival at the stadium.
There will be no public parking at the stadium on the day of the event. There are a limited number of parking bays for wheelchair users at the stadium, which can be booked by telephoning 0191 201 8666 prior to the event.
There will be no coach parking at the stadium, the nearest pay and display coach park is at Ord Street coach park, Newcastle upon Tyne (NE4 7AD).
There are many public pay and display car parks in Newcastle city centre, however the excellent Metro and bus services into and out of the city centre are recommended where possible.

6.15pm - The Horrors
7.30pm - White Lies
9pm - Kings of Leon
