Hatem Ben Arfa's FA Cup stunner against Blackburn Rovers last season has been nominated for the 2012 FIFA Puskas Award.

The prize, which runs alongside the prestigious Ballon D'Or, is for the best goal scored across Europe during the year and the Newcastle man's sensational solo effort is part of a ten-strong shortlist drawn up by a panel of experts and members of FIFA's Football Committee, and football fans can vote for the winner.

Voting for the first phase ends on 29th November before the top three go through to a second vote, from which the strike with the most votes will win the award.

The winner will be determined entirely by online voting but it's only possible to vote once. The likes of Lionel Messi, Falcao and Neymar are also nominated.
