Midfielder Dan Gosling has not been offered a new contract by Newcastle United and will join AFC Bournemouth upon the expiration of his current deal.

The 24-year-old joined the Magpies in the summer of 2010 from Everton but has struggled for regular game time at St. James' Park.

Gosling suffered with injuries in the early part of his United career, and made just 36 appearances during four years in the black and white shirt, scoring once.

The former England Under-21 international represented Newcastle in the Barclays Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup.

Earlier this season, Gosling spent time on loan at Blackpool, where he played 14 times and netted two goals.
